Interim payment applications
An interim payment is a measurement argument with a number attached. We work on either side of it — preparing the application, or checking it — never both on the same project.
Scope
- Measurement records (ataşman) and the green book
- Quantity lists tied to contract items
- Price adjustment and variation tracking
- Cumulative control against the contract sum and any variation limits
What checking actually looks at
Three things, in order: whether the measurement record carries dates and signatures, whether the green book quantity matches that record exactly, and whether variations are tracked cumulatively rather than one by one.
Because we never build, the report has no incentive on either side.
